The Rubber Squeegee Trick

A window squeegee is surprisingly effective on carpets. Drag the rubber blade across the carpet, and watch it pull up embedded pet hair that the vacuum missed.

Damp Rubber Gloves

Put on a pair of rubber cleaning gloves, dampen them slightly, and run your hands over your furniture. The hair will clump together, making it easy to throw away.

Fabric Softener Spray

Mix a little fabric softener with water in a spray bottle. Lightly mist the carpet before vacuuming. It loosens the hair from the fibers.
