Deep Cleaning Your Oven Without Harsh Chemicals

The Baking Soda Method

Empty the oven and remove the racks. Mix baking soda with a few tablespoons of water to create a spreadable paste.

Apply and Wait

Coat the entire inside of the oven (avoiding the heating elements). Let it sit overnight. The paste will turn brown as it absorbs the grease.

Wipe and Spray

The next day, wipe out the paste with a damp cloth. Spray any remaining residue with white vinegar - it will foam up - and wipe clean.
